Guided Trips
Upper McKenzie
Swift currents, boulder gardens, and pocket water comprise the productive stretch that is the upper McKenzie River. A large trout population inhabits the clear waters above Leaburg Dam. With fish ranging from 10”-18” and 20”+ fish possible, the upper stretches of the river are some of the most fast paced and action filled fishing offered. A day on the fabled upper McKenzie is a rite of passage for any fisherman, beginner or advanced.
Lower McKenzie
The lower stretches of the McKenzie River provide some of the best fishing in the early summer months before the water temperatures rise. With larger runs, gravel bars, and fern walls, this stretch is different than the upper but to no compromise in aesthetics. The slower and deeper holding water has produced some of the largest fish I have encountered in my time on the McKenzie.
